Since its completion in 1843, the structure known as the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum has been home to some of the town's most prominent citizens, including the 19th century Supreme Court Justice Henry Baldwin and President of the Atlantic and Great Western Railroad, William Reynolds. Most of the furnishings and decorations that are from the home itself come from the later 1800s when the Reynolds family occupied the home, and a guided tour of the stately mansion is the best way to learn about the building and its past residents. Set atop a hill on the northern side of town, the historic home is only a few miles east of I-79.
Open mid-May - Aug: Wed. - Sun. noon - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Mon. - Tue.; Closed Sep - mid-May. Guided tours run at noon, 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Children (6-18) $3; Children under 6 are free.
